I am installing a polyiso board (the product is called GoBoard) around a 4” high stacked 2x4 shower curb. The shower curb sits on top of a newly installed 3/4” plywood subfloor. I plan to install 1/4” underpayment on that in preparation for a floating LVP floor.
So, to tie it all together, I’d like to use 10” wide kerdi band in the corner between the shower curb and the floor.
The question is: should the kerdi band be installed directly to the 3/4” subfloor with the 1/4” underpayment over top (which I plan to fasten with staples), OR, should the 1/4” underlayment get attached directly to the subfloor with the kerdi band on top of the underlayment?
