Well after noticing it for the second time it becomes weird. Whenever My bestfriend comes one of my lamp won't work for a complete day or even two days, at first I thought it's normal. The second time I change the start, the next time as soon as she texted me that she will come my light didn't work. And now again this happened and I don't want to be superstitious but that doesn't seem normal at all. This is not the first weird things happen to me, but that's the first time it related to someone else. I have some more experience with her a couple of years ago too.

Do you really expect that someone on this site can give you an answer? Your question has nothing to do with home improvement. – Barry Nov 26 '23 at 01:24

2If it's only been two times, it could be a coincidence. Try using a different lamp, or try a different plug. It's could be a loose electrical connection in either the lamp, the plug, or the switch, and either your friend steps on the floor stronger than you do or the two of you together are vibrating things more than normal and knocking the connection loose. – Triplefault Nov 26 '23 at 02:09

3Does your friend plug their phone/tablet/MP3 player in the adjacent socket?.... – Jiminy Cricket. Nov 26 '23 at 02:18

@JiminyCricket. Good question, event then its hard to see how that would have a long lasting affect. Plus apparently it happened after a text was received from the friend. – Rohit Gupta Nov 26 '23 at 04:47

@Sara1311Rz, perhaps you have a faulty lamp, socket or wiring. – Rohit Gupta Nov 26 '23 at 04:49
